Inspired by our love of Danish design and modernist furniture, JT Mid-Century is a bespoke kitchen design that strikes the perfect balance between contemporary and retro appeal.
JT Mid-Century
The JT Mid–Century is our homage to twentieth-century modernism and classic Danish furniture. Inspired by mid-century design, we developed a delicately proportioned finger pull in solid timber that emerges elegantly from wood veneered or solid surface-clad cabinet fronts. Rather than just an attached fitting the mid–century handle becomes an entirely organic part of the cabinetry.
Having originally developed the mid-century handle for a number of early bespoke furniture commissions, we were curious to see how it would work as a part of a fully resolved kitchen design and from there, originated the JT Mid–Century. For clients eschewing an ultra-modern kitchen but not wishing to opt for more traditional styles, our JT Mid–Century strikes the perfect balance between contemporary and retro appeal.
