About Jack Trench Design

Jack has been a designer and manufacturer of bespoke kitchens, furniture and joinery for over 25 years. During this time, he has run his own joinery workshops alongside in-house site fitting teams and design studios whilst building up a network of specialist makers, fabricators and suppliers. Jack Trench Design draws its core team from this well-established and trusted network of manufacturers and design professionals.

A trained industrial designer, Jack’s entry into the world of construction was as an architectural assistant and draughtsman. He then went on to set up Jack Trench Design & Build (2001) and in 2003 opened his first joinery workshop and established Jack Trench Limited, delivering bespoke joinery for diverse projects including high-end residential work, retail fit-outs and museum installations. During this time the company grew into a thriving business with a team of 16 employees, 5,000 sq. ft. workshop premises and showrooms in Islington and Clerkenwell.

As a multi-award-winning kitchen designer and longstanding construction professional working alongside architects, interior designers and contractors, Jack has delivered over 15 million-pounds worth of joinery for high-end residential projects throughout London, the UK and Europe.

Future Food Space | Design for Climate Change

In the spring term of 2024 we joined up with Climate Change All Change to lead a co-design project with the Year 5 children at London Fields Primary School. Future Food Space explores how future-focused design can put food on our plates and create climate resilient homes.

CCAC is a charity dedicated to teaching children about climate change, empowering them to imagine solutions through the lens of various design disciplines. As an advocate of good design that’s built to last, Jack hopes his work with CCAC will help foster a new generation of climate-aware designers.

Client Testimonials

“We really enjoyed working with Jack on the design of our kitchen, no detail was too small during the design process even down to hand-selecting the marble for our island. The process was extremely well-managed and the quality of our finished kitchen is superb” Philip & John | Wandsworth
